Alba | British-Spanish singer, songwriter & guitarist

About Alba

British-Spanish singer and guitarist Alba is known for her smoky voice, thought-provoking lyrics and exceptional guitar skills. With a passion for storytelling and a multicultural background, she blends timeless pop-rock with shades of neo-soul, funk and R&B into a guitar-driven sound entirely her own.

Her musical journey began in France, learning piano at four. After moving to Spain she took up guitar and singing, writing her own songs by 14. At 16 she founded the band Sons Of Rock, releasing four studio albums and touring festivals including Rock in Rio, and opening for artists such as Amy Winehouse, The Waterboys and Loquillo.

Since relocating to London in 2016, Alba has performed on stages including The Cavern Club and Ronnie Scott's, and drawn support from BBC Radio, Guitar Magazine, Wonderland and Amazing Radio. Her EP Questions Unanswered, co-produced with London producer edbl, explores love, freedom, identity, climate and social justice.

Alba is also a vocal environmental campaigner, working with non-profits to raise awareness of climate change and push for a greener music industry.
